Covid-19 Update

Governor Pritzker's latest mitigation plan to return the state of Illinois to Tier 3, requires the following:
  "Pause all indoor group sporting and recreational activities including youth and adult recreational sports"

Therefore, Sluggers Baseball Academy activities are on temporary hold starting Friday, November 20th.  Our current plan is to resume this session as soon as the all clear is given by the appropriate city and state officials.  We will continue to monitor the situation and update you on any changes to the current mitigation plan.  

We look forward to seeing everyone back on the playing field soon.  Have a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

​Youth Baseball Training - Mission Statement:

At Sluggers Baseball Academy, our mission is to create and sustain an environment where players of all ages can benefit from the life lessons that are inherent to the game of baseball.  We believe in building teams through camaraderie, allowing players to persevere through adversity, winning with humility, and learning from failure.  We focus on teaching fundamentals that build better players and instilling confidence that creates better adults, on and off the field.

We believe success is not measured by launch angle or exit velocity.  No player will remember how many hits they had, or how many opponents they struck out.  What players will remember is the overall experiences they had with their teammates, coaches and parents along the path of their baseball life.  A path they will continue to pave for generations to come.
